Red haired? Show it off with purple eyeshadow
July 19, 2010
Redheads can often be tempted to wear neutral colours because of a fear that bright make up shades will clash with their hair.
But, a top beauty expert has advised that red-haired girls need not think muted colours are their only option.
According to Eric Polito, titian-haired beauties should show off their complexion with stronger shades.
Speaking to Marie Claire, he noted: "Neutral shades won't compete with your crimson [hair]. Try layering deep-purple eye pencil with brown shadow for a subtle kick of colour."
Why not try Barry M's Dazzle Dust in Chocolate with our Kohl Pencils in either Pastel Lilac or Bright Metallic Purple?
And, by opting for a purple eyeliner, you'll be wearing one of this summer's hottest make up shades, according to beauty expert Zara Rabinowicz.
Eric recommended adding a dab of colour, such as Barry M's Lip Paint in Golden Bronze or our Liquid Lip Gloss in Chocolate Brown, to your pout to finish the look.
